Minister of Transport Martin Kupka (48, ODS) believes that the news will save people money and especially time. It is said that not only the repeated endless sitting at the offices, but also the tedious manual filling of tiresome forms will be eliminated. “The system automatically pre-fills all known data. In addition, the applicant will save 20% of the administrative fee by applying online.” said Kupka. For example, when processing a request for an additional “espezette”, which is most often placed on the rear bike carrier, people will save one visit to the office, according to the minister. They only pick up the tag at the chosen office.
The Department of Transport also states that thanks to the new feature, drivers will see all their requests clearly, including all the details, and will also be informed through notifications that, for example, they can pick up a new license plate or vehicle registration certificate.
Payments are not yet available
The agenda is handled by municipalities, city authorities and municipalities with extended powers. I visit the counters, but people still can’t avoid them. On the one hand, they will have to submit the necessary documents during the inspection, and then the authorities will also have to pay administrative fees. In the future, however, the Department of Transport promises that payments should also be possible online via payment gateways.
What will be free, however, will be obtaining a list of technical data about the vehicle or a list of all historically owned or operated vehicles. This will save people exactly one hundred crowns. Kupka’s resort did not want to delay the launch of the new feature for citizens and gradually started the functions already this weekend.
