As mentioned on Catch-Newz, Charlotte Flair had to go under the knife in early January 2024 to correct a triple ligament tear in her knee.
Charlotte Flair had surgery on January 4 and posted a message on Twitter to thank the fans for the many messages of support. She wrote:
”THANK YOU for all the beautiful positive messages and flowers. I feel fully supported. It took me a few days and a LOT of tears to understand all of this. I happen to be an expert at overthinking and this is the first time I’ve actually been afraid. I’m afraid of the unknown, but I also feel like I’m losing what I’m most proud of: being an athlete. I don’t like to show my physical weakness and this made me feel vulnerable. A process through which I know I will grow but which is very new to me. It was a tough blow for me, mentally and obviously physically, going into 2024. 2023 has been a rollercoaster, I’m trying to stay positive and maybe it was the only way to stop, focus, rebuild and finally conquer again.”
Today, Charlotte Flair posted a video saying it’s the first day she’s moved her knee since surgery:

The road to recovery for Charlotte Flair will likely be a very long one. She is currently scheduled to return in October 2024, but could vary depending on the progress of her recovery and WWE’s plans at that time.
