The Minister of the Interior, Guillermo Francosand the Secretary of Tourism, Environment and Sports, Daniel Scioliagreed with the tourism sector on a new program similar to Previaje.
This is the “Argentina Emerge Program”, which will replace the PreViaje that emerged during the presidency of Alberto Fernández to compensate for the drop in tourism during the pandemic.
This agreement is intended to promote national tourism during the low season, prior to the winter holidays. Discounts of up to 30% on long-distance tickets and 20% on hotels were agreed, in addition to benefits for the purchase of packages and contracting services.
What is the new Preview about?
The “Argentina Emerge Program” is similar to the previous Preview version. Scioli explained that this new benefit seeks to provide attractive tourist packages with the support of public and private banking entities. This will be in collaboration with the Chamber of Tourism and the Ministry of Tourism.
“Easter was not a coincidence; the planning of that weekend, with promotions such as Quota Simple, gave a successful result,” said the secretary.
“With the Argentina Emerge Program, we are going to promote tourism with discounts and offers through promotion and positioning campaigns, which are added to programs that favor tourist movement and the enhancement of our attractions,” said Undersecretary of Tourism Yanina Martínez .
New Preview 2024: what benefits will tourists have
According to what was disseminated by the Executive Branch, the following benefits were agreed with the business chambers:
30% on long-distance tickets in low season, until winter holidays
20% discounts on hotel rates
Domestic tourism packages in installments with bank financing and 7×6 promotions (pay 6, get 7) on ski resort passes.
Airline tickets are not yet contemplated, but we are working with the airlines to provide discounts.
