A potential new victim of Eddy Snelders reported her to Manon Cop, the lawyer of Snelders’ stepdaughter, who is also present in the images that the former football commentator made secretly in the bathroom of his holiday home in the Ardennes.
The woman contacted the policeman, but has not yet been received by the lawyer. More details are therefore not yet known. In itself it is not surprising that potential victims emerge. Eddy Snelders’ new confessions have now reached all the media. So it makes sense that the people who were at Snelders’ vacation home are worried they were being filmed.
Last month it became known that Eddy Snelders regularly showed himself naked in front of a neighbor and her children and enjoyed it. Now it seems that he has also been accused of voyeurism. His then-minor stepdaughter, among others, was allegedly filmed via a spy camera in the bathroom.
Voyeurism carries much heavier penalties than exhibitionism. Exhibitionism carries a maximum prison sentence of three years if the victim is under 16. In practice, convictions for exhibitionism are rare. For voyeurism with minor victims under the age of 16, penalties can reach up to 15 years in prison.(jvde)
