New judges were appointed to the appeal courts of Baku, Ganja, Sheki and Shirvan.

Publika.az reports that this was reflected in the draft law “On the appointment of judges of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan” which was discussed at today’s session of the Milli Majlis.

Judges of the Baku Administrative Court Elvin Aliyev and Mehriban Garayeva, Judge of the Baku Commercial Court Emin Aliyev, Judges of the Baku Binagadi District Court Gunel Abbasova and Saadat Salimova, Baku Nasimi District Court Judge Samad Jafarov, Baku Yasamal District Court Judge Murad Mammadov, Ganja City Court Judge judge (deputy chairman) Tural Gocayev, chairman of the Hajigabul District Court Zaur Huseynov were appointed judges of the Baku Court of Appeal.

Faig Mahmudov, judge of Ganja Serious Crimes Court, Mustafa Mustafyev, judge of Ganja City Court, Togrul Ali, chairman of Yevlakh District Court, will be appointed judges of Ganja Court of Appeal. Adil Mammadov was relieved of his position as a judge of the Ganja Court of Appeal due to the change of position.

Ayyub Karimov, judge of Goygol District Court, Elman Isayev, judge of Gabala District Court, Tural Hasanov, judge of Zagatala District Court, were appointed judges of Sheki Court of Appeal.

Yashar Hashimov, judge of Fuzulu District Court, Fikret Huseynov, judge of Ganja Administrative Court, Habil Bahmanov, judge of Masalli District Court, Parviz Hajiyev, judge of Sheki District Court, will be appointed judges of Shirvan Court of Appeal. Zaur Allahyarov, deputy chairman of the Shirvan Appellate Court, Ilkin Abdullayev and Mahammad Bagirov, judges of the Shirvan Appellate Court, were relieved of their duties due to the change of their positions.
