Network involved in smuggling of Indians in Russia-Ukraine war busted, CBI action

New Delhi. The Central Bureau of Investigation has busted a large human trafficking network that used to transport Indians to the Russia-Ukraine war zone under the guise of getting jobs abroad, officials said on Thursday. They said the agency has conducted raids at more than 10 locations in seven cities. Officials said the agency has registered an FIR against various visa consultancy firms and agents. Several people have been detained and Rs 50 lakh has been seized during the searches, they said.
