Netanyahu: “Conditions are maturing, that’s a good sign”
WASHINGTON – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during a meeting with hostage families in Washington, DC, “Conditions are maturing, that’s a good sign. I believe that if we are determined on this issue, we can reach an agreement.”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has begun his contacts in the US. Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara Netanyahu met with the families of the hostages as part of their contacts in the capital Washington DC. During the visit, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu touched on the importance of this visit, which demonstrated the support given to the efforts for the release of the hostages, and said, “We learned that two more people are not alive. However, we are determined to bring them all back. The conditions for the return of the hostages are ripening. There is a serious change and I think this change will increase.”

In his speech after the visit, Netanyahu said, “I am doing everything in my power to ensure the return of the hostages and at the same time to preserve the existence of the State of Israel. The decisions we will make are fateful for the future of the State of Israel and the Zionist enterprise.”
Referring to the ceasefire in Gaza and the agreement to release prisoners, which the world is eagerly awaiting, Netanyahu said, “The conditions are maturing, which is a good sign. If we are determined on this issue, I believe we can reach an agreement. I am saying this is a process. It will not happen all at once, there will be stages, but I believe we can move towards an agreement.”
The meeting was also attended by the Director of the National Security Council, the Director General of the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, the Cabinet Secretary, the Prime Minister’s Military Secretary and the Coordinator for Hostages and Missing Persons.
