Indian-born British writer Natasha Cole, who was deported from India a few days ago, has denied the accusations made against her that she is married to a Pakistani or that she is a slave of China.
Natasha wrote on X: ‘All lies again, I did not marry a Pakistani, I am not a Muslim, not a pawn of China, not a puppet of the West, not a communist, not a jihadist, not even a sympathizer of Pakistan, neither I am neither pro-terrorist nor anti-India, nor am I part of any gang. I am the one whom the authorities fear. A contemplative lady.’
‘I am not married to a Pakistani, not a Muslim convert’: Nitasha Kaul trashes claims after UK writer was deported

A few days ago, Indian-born British writer Natasha Cole said that she was denied entry to India and deported from the airport because of her views on ‘democratic and constitutional values’.
Professor Natasha Cole of London’s University of Westminster said in her message on X that she was stopped at the airport due to ‘orders from Delhi’.
Natasha had said that she had arrived at the Bangalore airport in southern India, where she was invited to attend the two-day Constitution and National Unity Convention as a speaker, but after landing in Bangalore, she was denied a visa at the immigration stage. However, it was stopped.
IMPORTANT: Denied entry to #India for speaking on democratic & constitutional values. I was invited to a conference as esteemed delegate by Govt of #Karnataka (Congress-ruled state) but Centre refused me entry. All my documents were valid & current (UK passport & OCI). He wrote that I have not been given any justification for such an attitude except that ‘we cannot do anything, orders have come from Delhi.’
According to Natasha: ‘I was not given any prior notice or information from Delhi that I would not be allowed to enter India.’
According to the British professor, he not only had to spend several hours at immigration for which he was not even told the reason, but was also kept under CCTV observation for 24 hours, where he was deprived of basic necessities such as pillows and blankets. Dozens of calls had to be made and still these items were not delivered to them.
He claimed that officials ‘informally referred to my criticism of the RSS, a far-right Hindu nationalist paramilitary organization years ago.’

In 2019, Natasha Cole served as a key witness before the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs, testifying about human rights abuses in Indian-administered Kashmir following the abrogation of Article 370.
After 24 hours Natasha Cole was deported to London.
He compared himself to ‘Tibetan exiles and Ukrainian exiles and figures in history who faced brute forces.’
He further wrote: ‘Banning India’s academics, journalists, activists and writers despite all valid documents is regrettable.’
On this issue, opposition Congress Party politician and Member of Legislative Assembly of Karnataka Azwan Arshad criticized the Narendra Modi government and termed Professor Natasha Kaul’s deportation as ‘unfortunate’ and ‘insult’ to the state of Karnataka.
However, the Karnataka wing of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) thanked security agencies in immigration for nabbing ‘anti-India elements’ at X and described Natasha Kaul as a ‘Pakistani sympathizer’.
