NBA All Star Game / Giannis Antetokounmpo’s East won with 200 points

Dominated by East in this year’s 73rd NBA All Star Game, held in Indianapolis. THE Giannis Antetokounmpo’s team prevailed over the West with 211-186 and became the first team to exceed 200 points in the history of the institution.

Damian Lillard was named MVP of the match of the Milwaukee Bucks, amid boos, after the crowd in Indianapolis wanted the award to go to “their” Tyrese Haliburton.

The first scorer for the winners was Lillard with 39 points and 11 three-pointers, while 36 points were added by Jaylen Brown of the Celtics and 32 by Haliburton of the Pacers.

For the West, Karl-Anthony Towns of the Timberwolves played a big game and stopped at 50 points, while Shay Gilgeous-Alexander of the Thunder had 31.

As for Giannis Antetokounmpo, he had 23 points (11/13 two-pointers, 0/3 three-pointers, 1/2 shots), 7 rebounds and 1 assist in 23 minutes of participation.

With his appearance this Giannis Antetokounmpo moved into 11th place as the leading scorer in All Star Game history.

The “Greek Freak” reached 199 (24.9 m.o.) and surpassed big names of the institution such as Wilt Chamberlain, Steph Curry and Dwayne Wade.

So, if all goes well and Giannis is invited to next year’s All Star Game, he will have a chance to make the top ten, as he is just three points behind Shaquille O’Neal, who ranks 10th with 202 points.
