The results of the Under 23 European Rowing Championships were as follows:
In the men’s lightweight single sculls category, Halil Kaan Köroğlu from the Turkish national team came first, Mikita Karneyeu, who participated individually, came second, and Duarte Kastro from the Portuguese national team came second.
In the women’s lightweight double sculls category, Simla Suay Alıncı and Irmak Fertuğ from the Turkish national team came in first, Emma Tosi and Arianna Tosi from the Italian national team came in second, and Hanna Matyas and Csende Ajna Kiss from the Hungarian national team came in third.
In the women’s lightweight single sculls category, Maria Zhovner, who participated individually, came first, Deniznur Baykara from the Turkish national team came second, and Eszter Fehervari from the Hungarian national team came third.
In the men’s four-man single coxswain category, Romania came first as a team, Denmark came second and Türkiye came third.

National rower Halil Kaan Köroğlu, who came first in the men’s lightweight single sculls category in the competition, said that the race was comfortable for him. Köroğlu said, “I can honestly say that the race was comfortable for me. I started the race in the lead at the beginning. Then I continued. I can say that I finished comfortably at the end of the race. I was expecting this anyway. I am happy to be the European champion in my own country, I was expecting this anyway. I am really proud. This is the first time we have held a race in our own country, we have always held it abroad before. There is a special pride in having it in our own country, in other words, I am much prouder now. I am happy to have made my nation experience this pride. I am also happy to have won in my own country. It was a victory worthy of Edirne and Turkey.”
