National archer Elif Berra Gökkır aims to win a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Elif Berra Gökkır, who won the bronze medal in the European Continental Quota Competition held in Essen, Germany, and qualified to participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, made a statement to the AA correspondent after the Conquest Cup held in Okçular Lodge.
Stating that Turkish archers will be successful in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, the young athlete said, “Turkish archery has been progressing recently. I think we will have a good summer. I want to represent my country in the best possible way. My goal is the gold medal.” he said.
“I had an intense training program”
National athlete Elif Berra said that she worked very hard for the European Continental Quota Competition, where she won the bronze medal.
Evaluating her performance in the European Continental Quota Competition, Elif Berra said, “The tournament went well. It was a competition that I am very proud of. I enjoyed my performance.” he said.
Olympic preparations
Young archer Elif Berra emphasized that they want to participate in the Olympics as a team.
Stating that they continue to work as a team, Elif Berra said, “We will participate in the last quota competition in Antalya after the European Grand Prix to be held in Croatia. We want to get a quota for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games as a team.” said.
