A mystery is mobilizing the police municipality of Olympia, in Sao Paulo. A family has been missing since Thursday (28th), when they left the city towards São José do Rio Preto, 50 km away. The relatives have contacted the authorities, who are investigating the case.
The family, composed of Anderson Givago Marinho35 years old, wife Mirele Regina Beraldo Tofalete, 32, and the couple’s daughter, 15, left Olimpia to have lunch and celebrate Mirele’s birthday in Rio Preto. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes.
Anderson and Mirele stopped responding and seeing messages from friends and family around 2 p.m. No one knows if they have reached their destination.
According to relatives, during the night, the The couple’s and their daughter’s cell phones were turned off.
«The only information we have, so far, is their car it passed through a radar near the city of Mirassol” Anderson’s sister, Geise Adriele Marinho Ribeiro, said.
Mirassol is a municipality of São Paulo, located 15 km from Rio Preto, and, in principle, it would not be part of the route that the family would travel.

“They never left without informing a family member or close friend. Furthermore, they left the house they live in as if they were going to return soon, with the backyard birds and the dogs with their daily food”, underlined Geise.
Unable to have contact with the couple and the teenager for more than 24 hours, the relatives turned to the police on Friday night (29), and registered the missing.
