A Russian influencer is sparking public outrage after posting a video of himself throwing his two-month-old son into a snowbank. Although he belatedly tried to correct the problem by saying, “she was a doll,” some netizens did not believe his explanation, saying that the child’s expression had moved.
According to Russian media such as Izvetiya, on the 8th (local time), millionaire influencer Sergei Kosenko posted a short video the day before in which he claimed to have celebrated local Christmas (January 7) according to the Julian calendar. In it, he was seen throwing his son Leo, who was just two months old, into the air and falling into a snowbank. The post also included the phrase “Leo’s first flight.”
This scene quickly spread across various social media, and the original video posted by Kosenko on Instagram received a whopping 70,000 likes. However, public outrage emerged in the comments section. Most netizens criticized her exaggerated joke, saying: “This is a crime of child abuse.” This was followed by comments like “Who treats their kids like that?”, “I think they gave birth to kids for content,” and “Stupidest video I’ve ever seen.”

Some said the child may have died and urged authorities to investigate, while one netizen said: “The report has been completed.” As the controversy intensified, Kosenko claimed that the filming was done using a doll, not her real child. However, netizens responded in disbelief, saying, “The baby’s eyes were blinking in the air.” At the same time, he was angry, saying, “Even if he were a real doll, it’s not funny at all” and “No normal person would make jokes about child abuse.”
Kosenko, who has 6.99 million subscribers, has previously been criticized for incomprehensible antics.
