Singer Phuong Thanh’s daughter’s name is Bui Ha Nghi Phuong, nickname is Ga, born in 2005. Her father is Mr. Dang Ngoc Cuong, had a relationship with Phuong Thanh but was not compatible with husband and wife. She is a single mother raising her children.

– From childhood until now, how have you lived when your mother is a famous singer?
In general, being my mother’s child for 19 years now, I’m getting used to it. Occasionally, when I read some negative articles and comments about me, I feel a bit sad and heartbroken.
I’m young and have a strong personality, so I like to experiment with many styles. They commented on my appearance and my family, saying ‘like mother, like daughter’, very negative! I don’t understand how people can say that.
From childhood until now, every class I’ve been in has been discovered as ‘Chicken Phuong Thanh’ and rumors spread throughout the school, there’s no way to hide it. I don’t post about my mother, sometimes I take pictures and hide them behind her back to post stories (the feature of sharing moments and short news on personal Facebook – PV), but my friends still watch and see how good it is.

In grade 2 and 3, I was quite comfortable, no matter what people said, I felt happy. But when I went to college, I didn’t share anything about my family because this environment was too large, and if I couldn’t control it, it would affect me.
– Singer Phuong Thanh is very ‘fierce’ in her career, what is it like being a mother at home?
My mother is very funny, often joking and teasing her children, especially about love affairs. Sometimes, I joke around and ask my mother how her love life is going. Mother and daughter are as comfortable as two friends.
I can freely talk about love and affairs with my mother! I don’t know about other parents, but perhaps it’s a bit rare to see mothers who let their children live comfortably and freely develop in the direction they like.
Sometimes my mother is also uncomfortable and hot-tempered. My temper is just like my mother’s, so at times like that, the two of us will be silent for a while. After that, my mother was the one who came to console me because she knew that girls were ‘fragile’ and could not bear harsh words.
Actually, I don’t always wait for my mother to comfort me. When I’m wrong, like going out late at night, for example, I have to go comfort my mother. My mother was grumpy and irritable, but her daughter said a few words and she calmed down and talked right back.
No matter how hot the mother is, she just says that she will never hit me. Seriously, if my mother hits me, I’ll really go to hell. (laugh)

– Have you ever blamed your mother for worrying about work and not being close to her children?
From childhood to adulthood, my mother almost never left me alone for too long or felt distant. If so, at the end of my 12th grade year, my mother went to sing on a separate island.
At that time, I graduated from high school and was in the last days of my student life, so I was a bit sensitive. I saw that my friends had their parents with them while I was alone, so I felt a bit sad.
