The singer, composer and music producer, Enoque Lúcio, will release this Thursday (23), on digital platforms, his EP entitled “Fofocas da Banda”, with seven musical tracks, afro jazz style.
The EP was produced in Lobito, at Stúdio JC, directed by producer Dilson Comando, and is focused on recovering ancestry and the popular songbook of the South of the country.
With the tracks “Copo de Sal”, “Pés doridos” and “Cesto da Avó”, which recount the love of yesteryear, matriarchal sacrifice and the experiences of the past, it revisits the values of Angolan ancestry, in a more contemporary sound, but without losing the matrix of Angolan musicality.
According to the artists, the objective of the EP is to make future generations understand and not make the same mistakes that have been made in recent years, in order to preserve our roots.
The launch of “Fofocas da Banda” constitutes, according to the artist, his contribution to the preservation of national traditions and values, so that the cultural identity of Angolans can be rescued, which will provide individual responsibility for the construction of a New Angola.
Born in Lobito, province of Benguela, the singer, composer and music producer, Enoque Lúcio, began his journey in church in the children’s choir, having created several vocal groups, including Quarteto Heróis da Fé, Solos da Marcel Gospel and Vocal Eyulo.
In 2011, he launched a solo career, two years later he presented the single “Refúgio Seguro”, in 2013 and the release of the CD “Solos da Marcel Gospel”.
