Part 9 of the “Eberhofer” crime series as a German-language free TV premiere at 8.15 p.m.: Bezzel and Schwarz between missing person case and chaos at the farm
Vienna (OTS) – The popular “Eberhofer” crime series is entering the next round: “Steckerlfischfiasko” is scheduled to hit cinemas in 2026, with filming starting in summer 2025. Before that, the German-language free TV premiere of the ninth Rita Falk bestseller adaptation, “Rehragout-Rendezvous”, is scheduled to air on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 8:15 p.m. on ORF 1 and ORF ON as part of the ORF summer cinema: When Grandma goes on strike, comfort at the Eberhofer farm is over. Susi becomes deputy mayor and gets Franz to take more care of his son Pauli. A missing person case that develops into a complicated murder case comes in very handy for Franz. The film was directed once again by Ed Herzog, who, together with screenwriter Stefan Betz, is continuing the box office successes. There will be a reunion with the iconic regular cast around Sebastian Bezzel and Simon Schwarz: Also taking part this time are Enzi Fuchs, Lisa Maria Potthoff, Eisi Gulp, Gerhard Wittmann, Daniel Christensen, Stephan Zinner and many more.

In her new position, she forces Franz (Sebastian Bezzel) to only work part-time so that she can look after her son Pauli more.
When real estate shark and large-scale farmer Lorenz Steckenbiller is reported missing, it is the change Franz has been waiting for. Together with his friend Rudi (Simon Schwarz), he starts the investigation – and what begins as a harmless missing person case quickly turns out to be a complex murder.
