Municipality of V. Tzoumerko: Proceeds with preventive cleaning of water supply tanks

The Municipality of North Tzoumerka is currently proceeding with preventive cleaning of the water supply tanks in all communities, with the aim of providing clean and quality water to residents and visitors.

A special cleaning crew proceeds to remove sand, silt, algae, salts and all kinds of sediments, present on the bottom and walls of the tanks, which are disinfected before they are refilled.

The cleaning of the tanks is done gradually with the supervision of the process by the deputy mayor Pantelis Vlachos, who has the control and supervision of water supply, drainage and rainwater issues in the territory of the Municipality, in cooperation with the presidents of the communities.

For the execution of the works, temporary, few-hour interruptions in the water supply of the settlements are necessary, the exact duration of which will depend on the type of work required, on a case-by-case basis. The Municipality of Northern Tzoumerko assures that an effort is made for the least possible inconvenience to consumers and thanks for your understanding.
