Expert panel with lecture and question time
Vienna (OTS) – Raise awareness and inform. This is the goal of the Life with Cancer association, which regularly organizes events for patients and relatives on the topic of cancer. This is also the case in March, International Awareness Month for Multiple Myeloma (diseases of the bone marrow). On March 27th, from 5 – 6:30 p.m., the Living with Cancer association invites you to an online event with the new association president Univ. Prof. Dr. Richard Crevenna (MedUni/Vienna General Hospital) and OÄ Dr. Eva-Maria Autzinger, specialist in hematology and oncology at the Sisters of Mercy Hospital in Vienna. “For patients with malignant bone cancer, the chances of long survival and a good quality of life have increased significantly in recent years thanks to innovative tumor therapies,” says the expert. “The spectrum of new treatment approaches ranges from effective options for newly diagnosed patients as well as for those affected with recurrences.” After their keynote speech, the expert panel will answer questions from patients and relatives.
