Mulla Abdul Ghani Baradar is among the hundred influential personalities

Time magazine has included Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, one of the founders of the Taliban movement in Afghanistan, among the hundred most influential people in the world.

Time magazine has released the list of 100 most influential people of this year i.e. 2021 on Thursday.

These hundred influential figures were classified according to which Taliban leader Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar has been included in the category of 20 influential leaders of the world.

It should be noted that Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar is one of the founders of the Taliban movement in Afghanistan.

Mullah Abdul Ghani is the deputy prime minister of the interim cabinet announced after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan in August.

After the American withdrawal and the announcement of the Taliban cabinet, speculations were being made regarding Mullah Abdul Ghani community and Mullah Haibatullah Akhundzada, but after a video interview of Mullah Baradar came to light last night, all the speculations about them were put to rest. They died.

When America attacked Afghanistan in 2001, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar went into hiding, after which Pakistani authorities announced his arrest in Karachi in 2010.

After that in 2013, when the discussion of talks with the Taliban started, the release of Mullah Baradar was set as a condition for the start of talks by the Taliban.

Finally, in October 2018, Pakistan released Mullah Baradar from prison, and in 2019, negotiations between the Afghan Taliban and the United States began.

It is said that the draft of the agreement with America was also written by Mullah Baradar.

Another Afghan figure who is a woman and works for women’s rights has been included in Time magazine’s list of 100 most influential people.

Her name is Mehbooba Siraj and she is also included in the list of influential leaders along with Mulla Abdul Ghani community.

Other leaders included in the Leaders category include former US President Donald Trump and current President Joe Biden, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US Vice President Kamala Harris.
