The grand final of the Muay Thai Tournament (MTT) is fast approaching. Final preparations are intensifying for the nak muays including Nomasy Raharijaona and Manoa Andrianjatovo, to be followed closely.
Future of the Malagasy ring
Beyond this first test, Nomasy has greater ambitions, to increase the number of fights in 2026, to seek a title of champion of Madagascar and to pursue his dream of becoming world champion in BJJ. “I entrust everything to God, but I know that work and perseverance will allow me to achieve my goals » he emphasizes. For him, muay thai and BJJ complement each other perfectly, one standing and the other on the ground, two essential weapons to shine in MMA. Among the women, Manoa Andrianjatovo (-51 kg) already has solid experience with seven fights including five victories, two by knockout. She discovered muay thai in 2022 but it was at the end of 2023 that she fully invested in the discipline. “This time I want to show harder, more aggressive muay thai. It’s the last tournament of the year, I have to hit hard » she confides. Her preparation was intense, without rest, punctuated by successive battles which forged her. She insists on the importance of never underestimating an opponent but intends to impose her more offensive and powerful style. Its objective is now clear, to reach the international milestone by 2026 and carry the Malagasy colors high. “I don’t think I’ll rest after this tournament. I want to continue to progress and raise my level » she affirms. The MTT fourth edition therefore promises to be a decisive meeting for these two rising figures. Around ten explosive duels are on the program for this grand final.
