Moussa: Valuable “scales” that enable continuity

This Friday evening, Moroccan singer “Moussi” will take the stage in Salé to perform an artistic evening as part of the activities of the 19th Mawazine Festival. This is his first participation in this event that has global radiance.

Moussi did not hold a press conference to answer questions from the media, like a group of his fellow artists. Rather, he preferred to make separate statements to the attending press, justifying that this was due to lack of time.

The same speaker pointed out that there are no comparisons between women and men in the artistic field, because each of them has its own style of music and its own presence, adding that he is happy to see young women professionalizing art, and that he admires their great talent, similar to the artist Hend Ziyadi.

Regarding the controversy that followed the release of the song “Al-Shawafat” and his accusation of marketing an offensive image of Morocco, the Moroccan artist evaded comment, saying only: “It remains just a song, and whoever likes its rhythm or words, that is what is most important.”
