What happened on the RN3 46 km from the city of Antananarivo on Sunday December 17 is significant. A 125 CC road motorcycle overturned onto the right side of the road after having left the road at a place called Sampanana Mama Zèle, fokontany Andriampamaky, rural commune Ambohitrony, district Manjakandriana. This accident which resulted in the death of the driver of this motorcycle. He died instantly. Aged 43, the victim came from Andriampamaky. He was on his way to reach the commune of Ankazondandy, his residence, when the accident occurred. According to the gendarmerie, the Manjakandriana road safety brigade was informed of this incident around 1 p.m. His elements then went to the scene to intervene. The preliminary investigation carried out on site revealed that excessive speed caused this incident. Driving at high speed, the motorcyclist lost control of his handlebars as he approached a dangerous bend.
