Motocross – 4 Hours Honda: Mathias and Lucas triumph on KTM

The team of Mathias Plantive and Lucas Robert tamed the circuit during the 4 Hours Honda at Ambohidratrimo. The champion completed 27 laps on the 8.5 km loop.

The 22e edition of the legendary 4 Hours Honda reached its climax this weekend on the brand new Classtimi space circuit in Ambohidratrimo, offering spectators a true endurance race filled with adrenaline and dazzling performances. It was the number 1 crew, made up of Mathias Plantive and Lucas Robert, on their KTM 450 SX, who crossed the finish line first, completing an impressive total of 27 laps on the 8.5 km loop. With 8:27.629 for their best lap, Mathias Plantive, the reigning national champion in Enduro and motocross, and Lucas Robert, ranked third in the Reunion championship, lived up to their reputation and asserted their domination on the circuit. Second place was fought until the end, and it was finally the crew of Claudio Tida and Pascal Dorseuil who won, also completing 27 laps with a record time of 8:26.148 of this edition for their best lap. On the third step of the podium we find the crew Andy Andrianiaina and Finaritra Razafindrakoto, having completed a total of 25 laps with a best time of 9:01.174.

In the mixed category, Larissa Raobelinasy, Madagascar women’s Enduro champion, and Roger Gauvin brilliantly won the victory by crossing the finish line with 20 laps to their credit. The team of Andrinirina Aupetit and Princy Kwan climbed to the top of the podium in the Rookie category. The organization also introduced something new this year with a category reserved for provincial drivers, in addition to the twelve other usual categories. The crew of Didier Ho and Olivio Ratefiarison won the first edition of this category brilliantly. Solo, it was Eric Karon who won the title by finishing in the lead with 24 laps to his credit. The winners of the other categories are, among others, Randy Rakotoarimanana and Tsoa Razafinarivo in the Elite 2, Sincere Leung Yeun and Jeremy Rakutu in the Juniors, Turmine Victoria in the Mixed 2 category, Hoarau Guillaume and Hoarau Moise for the Parent Child, Titi Caron and Nicolas Riviere in the Veteran 1 category, Tarzan and Nicolas Petit in the Veteran 2 category and Tojo Andriantseheno and Rajaona Adrien in the XR category. In total, 90 crews, totaling 170 drivers, registered for this long-awaited mechanical event in Madagascar and for two-wheel enthusiasts.
