Acting Organizing Secretary (Khulna Division) of BNP National Executive Committee in Jessore Anindya Islam Amit said that the people of the country are not well even in the holy month of Ramadan. The government cannot guarantee what they will eat at Sehri and Iftari. Today the lower to middle class are lining up at TCB just hoping for food to survive. Most people in the country are not getting food.
He said this during the distribution of food items among marginalized people organized by Ward No. 5 of Jessore Nagar Youth Dal on Thursday (March 21). He distributed food items through a program at Mujib Road Field in the city.
Anindya Islam Amit also said, ‘The current one-party ruling group does not need people’s votes. Because of which they have no minimum responsibility towards the people. They do not contain the people. Awami League does not care whether the people live or die.’
Nagar BNP General Secretary Ehsanul Haque Setu, Organizing Secretary Moniruzzaman Masum, Farooq Hossain, Joint Editor Zahirul Alam, District Youth Dal General Secretary Ansarul Haque Rana, Nagar BNP Ward No. 5 Branch President Marufuzzaman Kanchan, Nagar Jubo Dal Convenor Ariful Islam, members were present.
