The only goal of the match was scored at the end of the first half, in the 45+4′ minute, by 26-year-old striker Anissa Lahmari.

The Africans benefited from the 1-1 draw between South Korea and Germany, as they did not just depend on themselves, because a victory for the Germans would classify the European team.

The Morocco team will face France, which finished first in Group F with 7 points, next Tuesday, the 8th.

At the World Championship that takes place from July 20th to August 20th, organized by Australia and New Zealand, there were four African representatives.

Nigeria, South Africa and recently Morocco “stamped” their passes to the round of 16 and not only Zambia qualified.
