The Moroccan national team has completed its preparations to face the Zambian national team, scheduled today, Friday, at the Adrar Stadium in Agadir, for the third round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The Moroccan national team conducted its final training session yesterday evening, Thursday, under the leadership of the national voter, Walid Regragui, who put the last touches on the plan with which the confrontation will be played, while deciding on the starting lineup that will start the match.

Walid Regragui had expressed how difficult it was for him to decide on the player who would lead the national team’s attack, as he confirmed in the press conference that took place before the training session that the matter was related to the abundance of options, and who would start the match and who would come on as a substitute in the second half, indicating that he would decide the matter tonight.

Regragui confirmed that he aspires to lead the Moroccan national team to ensure participation in the World Cup for the third consecutive edition, stressing the necessity of winning the matches that will be held in Morocco, and trying to secure qualification early.

Immediately after playing today’s match against Zambia, the Moroccan national team is supposed to travel to Kinshasa to face the Congo-Brazzaville national team, next Tuesday, within the fourth round of the same qualifiers.
