Moroccan songs top YouTube trends

The Moroccan music scene is currently witnessing a remarkable artistic activity, coinciding with the start of the summer season, which is known for its abundance of music productions. This has led to a group of new works by artists gaining the approval of Moroccans and topping the list of most-watched videos, which has made them enter the competition for the top spot.

According to the latest data revealed by YouTube in Morocco, Moroccan singer Hind Ziyadi ranked first in the music trend with her new song “Boom Boom”, as it achieved more than 1.7 million views less than a week after its release.

The young artist “Bouqal” took second place on the list with the song “Calimero”, which he filmed as a video clip and achieved more than half a million views, followed by “Lazaro” with the song “Mahaboul Ana”, which achieved more than 3,000 views in two days.

A new song released by Raja Casablanca fans on the occasion of the latter’s coronation with the Professional League and Throne Cup, entitled “Our Eagle is Flying”, competed with a group of songs released on the same platform, taking fourth place.

Moroccan artist Nouamane Belaiachi continues to maintain the lead for the second week in a row with his new song “Bla Bla”, in which he enlisted the help of content creator Sofia Berbesh, which achieved more than 16 million views and came in fifth place.

For her part, singer Reem Fakri is still at the top of the Moroccan trend; after her singles, the duet that brought her together with Moroccan rapper Kozan was able to enter the competition and take sixth place, achieving more than one million views.

It is worth noting that with the beginning of the summer season, Moroccan musical works are witnessing fierce competition for the lead across digital music platforms, and this competition reflects the continuous growth and development in the popularity of Moroccan music and its great influence on the artistic scene.
