He announced that, based on the way in which the campaign has been developed where they have faced various incidents where they accuse of being harassed by the authorities, this Sunday it is expected that these types of situations will worsen, so he assured that they will not allow themselves to be intimidated and that They will document each incident to make the corresponding report.
Ricardo Mejía Berdeja, candidate for federal deputy for the PT, mentioned that the Police have tried to intimidate them in Torreón and in other municipalities such as Nava, Múzquiz, Juárez.
He considered that it is not an issue for the mayors but that he held Governor Manolo Jiménez directly responsible for these events, through the Police but also through the destruction of billboards, painting of walls, persecution of leaders, among other issues that have been documented. and presented to the Electoral Institute of Coahuila (IEC).
He said that a complaint was also filed against the governor for inaugurating a paving program in the middle of the campaign.
