Morena’s representative before the Electoral Institute of Mexico City (IECM), Eduardo Santillán, reported that to date more than 600 complaints and accusations have been filed against his opponents in the capital for various irregularities so far in the campaigns. .
In a press conference, Santillán Pérez said that Morena has made an effort to document and demonstrate irregularities on the part of the opposition, who seek to “judicialize” the election on June 2.
Among these irregularities, the representative mentioned that possible vote buying has been found, the use of public programs to force residents of the capital to attend political and electoral activities, as well as the violence with which banners and other types of banners have been lowered and destroyed. propaganda of the Morena, PT and PVEM candidates.
He also announced that “excessive use of resources” by some opposition candidates has been identified, for which he announced that the corresponding complaints will be presented.
On the other hand, Eduardo Santillán affirmed that the Guinda party is prepared to defend in court what, he assured, they will win at the polls on June 2, and called for the electoral process to be carried out peacefully.
“We are prepared to defend in court what we are going to win at the polls; we have a very important defense scheme and we will be doing this permanent complaint exercise, as we have done on other occasions; we reiterate the need for the process to be carried out in conditions of peace and tranquility”.
César Cravioto, spokesperson for the candidate for Head of Government, Clara Brugada, accused that the acting mayor of Álvaro Obregón, Mariana Rodríguez, has dedicated herself to promoting the candidate of the PAN-PRI-PRD alliance, Lía Limón, in networks of the demarcation and during working hours, something for which they will also file a complaint, both with the Comptroller’s Office and before the Congress of Mexico City.

For his part, Javier López Casarín, standard bearer of Morena, PT and PVEM, warned that 32 complaints have been filed with the IECM for the alleged violation of different provisions on electoral matters by the opposition candidate in Álvaro Obregón, Lía Limón , who seeks re-election.
