One month after the death of the remembered children’s entertainer Yola Polastri, the Municipality of Carmen de La Legua-Reynoso held a significant and colorful tribute to her, for her contribution to the training, entertainment and education of Peruvian children.
The tribute took place at Festiniño Carmelino, an activity attended by more than three thousand children accompanied by their parents, as part of the celebration of Children’s Day.
The event took place in the Plaza de Armas Miguel Grau in the Carmen de la Legua-Reynoso district. The mayor, Edwards Infante, recognized the niece of the “TV girl”, Danitza Pavlich Polastri, who was present with her brother Peter. She also highlighted the legacy of Yola Polastri, “whose work was always done with joy and love for children.”
During the presentation of the group “Yola y sus burbujitas”, the little ones were able to enjoy children’s songs, as well as participate in various games presented in the main show’s programming.
During the day, the spoiled children of the home were able to enjoy various activities and games such as balloon twisting, boy scouts, face painting, a marinera workshop, cajón classes, artistic photos, mini chef, storytelling, chess, child rescuers, among other distractions.
