More than three thousand apartments will be provided to those on the waiting list in the capital in 2024

In Astana, it is planned to provide housing to over 3.3 thousand people on the waiting list, Liter.kz reports with reference to the official site Akimat of Astana.

According to data as of March 30 of this year, 40,878 citizens are on the waiting list for social housing in the capital.

Citizens in the queue are divided into categories:

– orphans, children left without parental care;

– mothers with many children, awarded the “Altyn alka”, “Kumis alka” pendants or who previously received the title “Mother Heroine”, as well as awarded the Order of “Maternal Glory” I and II degrees, large families;

– socially vulnerable segments of the population;

– civil servants, employees of budgetary organizations, military personnel;

– citizens whose only home is recognized as unsafe in the manner established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2024, the housing and housing inspection department of the capital plans to provide 3,382 apartments, including as part of the rental housing program without the right of purchase for socially vulnerable segments of the population and large families; credit housing; rental housing without the right of purchase for working youth; within the framework of the regional program “Elorda Zhastary,” reports the Astana akimat.

To date, 1,342 of the specified number of apartments have been distributed.

Let us remind you that in the capital, as part of the program for the renovation of dilapidated housing, they provide for the demolition of dilapidated houses and the relocation of capital residents to new housing. In 2024, residents of 60 dilapidated houses will be moved to 1,400 apartments, which means about 4,200 residents of the capital will be provided with new housing.
