More than 500 Cubans applied for Miss Universe

SAN LUIS POTOSÍ, Mexico.- More than 500 Cubans sent their applications for the Miss Universe 2024 pageant, where they aspire to represent the Island.

According to the organization Miss Universe Cubain total they received 578 registrations in the virtual casting they called in recent weeks.

Applications were made from many countries, including Cuba, Dubai, Ecuador, Chile, Venezuela, Spain, Colombia, among others, the organization said.

“We are very happy! And we want to announce that we are already working on the preselection of the possible official candidates for this year, 2024,” he wrote. Miss Universe Cuba from their social networks.

At the beginning of May, Miss Universe Cubawhich will prepare the Cuban representative for the Miss Universe 2024 contest, began the virtual auditions to choose the candidate.

“It’s your time to shine! The organization Miss Universe Cuba invites you to sign up and become the next ambassador of Cuban beauty on the stage of Miss Universe. As part of the prestigious contest, you will have the opportunity to represent Cuba to the world and show your grace, elegance and talent,” the organization’s directors wrote on their website.

According to the application requirements, those interested, between 18 and 18 years old, had to fill out a form and upload three photos. The deadline ends on Sunday, May 26.

“We are looking for inspiring women, self-confident and with a deep love for their country. If you are between 18 and 28 years old, you are Cuban by birth or naturalized, and you dream of being the next Miss Universe Cuba, don’t wait any longer to apply! “This is your chance to make history!” stated the note.

The candidates had to be Cuban and if selected, they would have to travel to Miami from anywhere in the world, where the definitive representative of the Island will be chosen this summer.
