MOPC will improve local roads in three cities

The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) announced that it will improve the neighborhood roads of the cities of Ñemby, Guarambaré and Capiatá.

The Ministry of Public Works launched its project called Plan Central 2, which contemplates the paving of a total of 21.7 km of neighborhood roads distributed in the cities of Ñemby and Guarambaré, in the Central department.

The initiative, currently in the bidding process under Lot No. 4, represents a significant effort by the Paraguayan Government to improve walkability and facilitate community access to urban areas and healthcare services, thus contributing to expanding and improving the quality of circulation. on previously unpaved roads.

The works in Ñemby and Guarambaré will be carried out in 18 sections distributed across several neighborhoods, boosting economic development by improving the transportation of agricultural and artisanal products, as well as trade.

The works have an execution period of 18 months from the issuance of the start order by the MOPC, and in this case the estimated investment is G. 35,202,125,545.

IN CAPIATA

Capiatá will also receive a significant boost in infrastructure with the paving of 25 neighborhood sections. This project, part of Central Plan 2 of the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC), includes a total of 27.32 km of new paved or paved streets, distributed in strategic points of the city.

The Central Plan 2, currently in the tender process, includes similar interventions, whether asphalted or paved in other cities in the Central department that are: Areguá, Itá, Capiatá, Ñemby, Guarambaré and San Lorenzo.

The estimated investment is G. 54,807,320,327 to pave several streets in the city.
