Moody’s: Cyprus from stable to positive

The House credit rating Moody’s revised the outlook of the Cypriot economy from stable to positive. It also affirmed the country’s credit rating at ‘Baa2′ which is two notches above investment grade. According to the announcement, the positive outlook reflects the possibility of continuous improvement of Cyprus’ fiscal strength. The house spoke of a continuation of the prudent fiscal policy, as it characterized it, combined with prospects of strong economic growth in the coming years.
