Hanumangarh. District Collector Shri Kana Ram said that the all-round development of villages, farmers and villagers is the main priority of the state government. Any kind of negligence in rural development work will not be tolerated by the government. Therefore, Zilla Parishad, Panchayat and Gram Panchayat Samiti level personnel should complete the development works in a timely manner and as per the rules, so that more and more people can get the benefits of the schemes.

The District Collector said that the works of model sports ground, model pond, cremation ground development, nursery, garden and Mukhyamantri Jal Swavalamban Yojana 2.0 should be completed on priority in every village. He said that sports grounds should be made compulsorily in every Gram Panchayat, so that rural youth will get an opportunity to hone their sports talent. Besides, the concept of drug-free Hanumangarh will also come true. He gave instructions to quickly issue approvals for personal benefit works and complete the incomplete works.

The District Collector praised the Panchayat Samitis making better progress in various schemes and also gave instructions to take strict action against the weak progress. He said that in those Gram Panchayats where Village Development Officers and Junior Assistants are not taking interest in sanctioning the works, they should be given notice and seek clarification.

Every Panchayat Samiti has a target of planting 1 lakh saplings.

In the meeting, the District Collector gave a target to the development officers to plant one lakh saplings in their areas. He said that after planting the saplings, along with regular watering and fertilization, continuous monitoring should also be ensured. In this, cooperation of non-governmental organizations, committees, schools and various organizations can be taken. The District Collector also gave instructions for timely disposal of the cases received on Rajasthan Contact.

In the meeting, Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Ms. Sunita Chaudhary did a detailed review on the schemes of Panchayati Raj. On this occasion, Development Officer of Panchayat Samitis, Additional Development Officer and other personnel were present.
