Mobile court raids in Pasurhat, fines of lessees –

The mobile court has fined the lessee 50 thousand rupees on the charge of collecting extra revenue from the sacrificial cattle market in Boda, Panchagarh.

Executive Magistrate and Boda Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) SM Fuad imposed the fine on Saturday (May 31) afternoon at Nagar Kumarihat of the upazila.

Meanwhile, the commander of the Boda camp of the army, Lt. Zahid Al Masood, Boda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Azim Uddin along with police and army personnel were present.

According to the court sources, the lessee is collecting an additional 200 taka from buying and selling animals at Nagarkumari market. The operation was conducted on the basis of complaints. Later, the complaints of some people were heard by listing. This proves the truth of the charge of extra fee against the lessee.

Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) SM Fuad said, based on the news that additional fees are being collected at Nagarkumari Pasurhat of Boda municipality, the operation was conducted along with the army and police station.
