MNC Group Cooperative Entity Dissolved, KemenkopUKM: Important and Appropriate Steps

JAKARTA – Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia ( Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs ) attend the Annual Member Meeting (RAT) MNC Group Employee Cooperative which was held at iNews Tower, this Thursday afternoon (20/6/2024). KemenkopUKM appreciates the unification of entities employee cooperative which was previously known to exist with each company unit in the MNC Group.

“I appreciate the current development of the MNC Group employee cooperative, because as far as I know, cooperatives were previously formed based on company units in the MNC Group,” explained Deputy for Cooperatives at the Ministry of Cooperatives and UKM, Ahmad Zabadi after attending the opening of the Cooperative RAT.

Zabadi said that unifying employee cooperative entities into a single entity was an important step in strengthening business strategies for MNC Group employees.

“The unification of cooperative entities for each company unit under the MNC is a very important and appropriate step in my opinion. Because this step allows cooperatives to have large economic resources,” explained Zabadi.

Furthermore, Zabadi revealed that he suggested that the performance of the MNC Group cooperative be better, namely by providing savings and loan services. He suggested that this should be a strategic step for the development of cooperatives within the MNC Group.

“So in the future it will grow horizontally with businesses developed within the MNC Group cooperative environment. Based on the review, I think there is an opportunity to develop like that,” he said.

Zabadi continued, the horizontal development of the MNC Group employee cooperative can provide benefits both for business and for employees who work under the MNC Group.

“All employees also need a savings and loan business, which this cooperative can provide. I think the MNC Group Employee Cooperative can provide great benefits for all parties within the MNC Group holding company in the future,” said Zabadi.

For your information, the MNC Group Employee Cooperative RAT will be held until Thursday afternoon, June 20 2024. Also attending the RAT was the President Director of the MNC Group, Hary Tanoesoedibjo.
