JAKARTA – PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk ( WHIT ) successfully held the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) and Extraordinary (EGMS) on Wednesday (26/6). Shareholders officially agree on all meeting agenda items.

At the AGMS, shareholders approved the annual report of the Board of Directors including the sustainability report and supervisory duties of the Board of Commissioners for the 2023 financial year. Regarding the use of net profit, the company will place all profits as retained earnings, so that no dividends will be distributed.

“Agree not to distribute dividends to the company’s shareholders for the financial year ending December 31, 2023.” said the Main and Independent Commissioner of BHIT, Agung Firman Sampurna, at the GMS at iNews Tower, Wednesday (26/6/2024).

On the 4th meeting agenda, the company accepted the resignation of Jiohan Sebastian from the position of Director, as well as appointing an Independent Public Accountant to audit the company’s performance for the 2024 financial year.

Meanwhile, through the EGMS agenda, official shareholders agreed to the plan to increase capital with a private placement scheme. The corporate action called capital increase without pre-emptive rights (PMTHMETD) will be used to strengthen the company’s capital and financial structure.

“Agree to increase capital without pre-emptive rights (PMTHMETD) by spending a maximum of 10 percent.” said BHIT Director, Natalia Purnama.

Throughout 2023, BHIT recorded net income of IDR 15.66 trillion. The main contribution came from media revenues amounting to 62.1 percent which reached IDR 9.73 trillion. Next followed by financial institutions amounting to IDR 2.90 trillion or 18.5 percent of total revenue.

BHIT also gets income from the mining business line and other income of 13.9 percent and 5.5 percent respectively. Meanwhile, BHIT’s EBITDA is IDR 4.15 trillion, with a net profit for the year of IDR 1.23 trillion.
