MK Nissim Vattori, Deputy Speaker of the Knesset on behalf of the Likud, apologized for the things he said in an interview with Kol Brama radio this morning (Tuesday). “I heard again what I said and I was shocked. No one is an arm of Hamas.”

In an interview, Vettori said: “Look, there are several arms of Hamas. There is a fighting arm of the damned terrorists who murder children and there is an arm of the demonstrations.” MK Vettori later supported the conspiracy theory which claims that the October 7th massacre was carried out through betrayal from within: “A lot of information was hidden from the Prime Minister and members of the Foreign Affairs and Security Committee before October 7th. We must set up an investigative committee, I’m not sure they don’t continue to hide from us even today.”

Kaplan Force: “This is not just a fool, but a dangerous instigator who is tearing the people apart under Netanyahu’s direction. This is a dangerous statement, which compares the hundreds of thousands of fighters and volunteers to an arm of the terrorist organization Hamas. We call on the members of the Knesset from all factions of the House to unequivocally condemn the dangerous statements and back up the protesters.”

The reserve headquarters filed a complaint against Vettori for wild incitement against the demonstrators. “The demonstrators in Jerusalem and across the country are patriotic citizens who, between reservists and reservists, are struggling to get our beloved country back on track,” the headquarters announced. “The blood of the demonstrators is on the hands of Vatori and the other instigators.”

The Derchno movement also filed a complaint with the police. “Member of Knesset Nissim Vattori is attacking the protesters, including families of abductees, reservists and civilians who for almost a year have been giving everything for Israel’s security,” said CEO Nimrod Dveik. It is allowed to argue but not to incite. It is fitting that Vatori should leave the Knesset. We expect an unequivocal condemnation from the Prime Minister for these statements.”
