Singer Mirai Navrátil shocked his fans when he announced on Tuesday that he had undergone major jaw surgery. But he allegedly caused the injury two days before during an unpleasant scuffle after Ed Sheeran’s concert. Despite the pain, he continued to function.
“Thank you very much for your messages. I have a piece of titanium and a couple of screws in my mouth because my jaw is broken in two places, but otherwise no drama.” this is how the singer himself commented on his operation. He did not reveal anything about the reason for which he was forced to undergo the procedure.
Two days without treatment
The singer managed to function for two more days with a broken jaw before arriving at the University Hospital in Ostrava, where he was subsequently operated on. The fact that his family lives in Ostrava, who can continue to take care of him, also plays a big role.
Due to the operation that the popular singer had to undergo, the band was forced to cancel their Liberec concert, which was supposed to take place this Saturday, August 3. “We are looking for a new date, we will inform you as soon as possible about the purchased tickets,” wrote Mirai members on social media.
After Ed Sheeran’s concert, which thrilled Hradec Králové with his performance on Sunday, according to witnesses, Mirai, intoxicated with alcohol, got involved in a rough fight.
“And there was enough steam. After the concert, he got involved in a fight in the crowd and got, as the people say, over the handle,” a source told Lightning.
