Minors captured for trying to reactivate an MS-13 clique in Usulután

The Minister of Security, Gustavo Villatoro, reported on the capture of an MS-13 homeboy who intended to activate the clique in Usulután.

«Wanting to recruit minors to “activate” the clique? No, gentlemen, you were wrong, we are one step ahead of these terrorist practices to be able to neutralize them,” said the official.

Villatoro also pointed out that along with the gang member they captured 11 minors. These join another 5, and another gang member, previously detained last Sunday, as explained by the National Civil Police (PNC).

«We have captured an adult acting as a homeboy who tried to activate the Vatos Locos Salvatruchos clique of the MS structure and 11 minors, who were dedicated to creating graffiti alluding to the gang in a school, a Health Unit and in the old market. of the community, this in the department of Usulután,” said the minister.

The detainees have been identified as Oscar David Avilés Rodríguez, alias El Malo; Jostyn R, aka Shadow; Gerson N, alias Gordo; Dastin O, aka Negro; Luis A, alias El Chele; Anderson H, alias Moreno; Bryan S, aka Monfi; Alexis D, alias Pelón; Brandon M, aka Seco; Carlos A, alias; Strange; Hernán, alias Colocho and Melkin S, alias Lampi.

“Our Police carry out all the intelligence and research work in the territory to continue fighting this cancer, we are winning this War Against Gangs and we are going to use all the resources of the State so that this evil is NOT inherited to new generations,” Villatoro emphasized. .

After Villatoro’s publication, the PNC explained that last Sunday 5 minors and a gang member were captured, adding to the 11 detained this Thursday, resulting in an operation to capture 16 minors in total.
