Adverse Reactions to Covid Vaccine Lead to Million-Euro Claims
A number of people have suffered serious injuries following vaccination against Covid-19, leading to increasing demands for accountability from the Ministry of Health. Fernando Osuna, a lawyer, has stated that his firm has already compiled at least seven cases of people who have suffered serious problems after receiving any of the doses of the vaccine against the coronavirus. Among these cases include a resident of Seville who has lost 97% of his vision and has limitations on his legs, a thirteen-year-old teenager from Malaga who has limitations on his legs and who was hospitalized for four months, part of the time in the ICU, and a 75-year-old man from Valladolid who has had mobility sequelae in his hands and legs, and who has also been joined by people affected by Huesca and the provinces of Seville and Jaen.
The Common Denominator: No Previous Pathologies and Reported Covid-Vaccine Affiliation
All of these individuals had no previous pathologies before receiving the Covid vaccine, and according to Fernando Osuna, there is a very direct relationship between the inoculation of the vaccine and the injuries suffered, without any external factors interfering. Medical reports have shown through these pathologies that the injuries and issues suffered are linked to the vaccine.
Fernando Osuna has already filed a claim for patrimonial responsibility before the Ministry of Health for adverse reactions to vaccination against Covid-19. He has explained that the young man, after being vaccinated with the 2nd dose of vaccine for Covid on September 23 of 2021 (the first dose was received on September 3), began to suffer “paresthesias and small sensory alterations with weakness in both arms which the victim did not give importance, since he attributed them to the side effects of the vaccine”. However, by the month of December 2021, he suffered motor disturbances in his legs and pain in his back that worsened until he was completely unable to walk and was forced to go to the Emergency Department at the Hospital de Alta Resolución de Écija on December 13, 2021. The young man was admitted on December 14, 2021 to the Neurology floor of the Virgen del Rocío Hospital in Seville, where he remained until January 5, 2022. After the corresponding treatment and diagnostic study, he was transferred from the Neurology ward to the Spinal Cord Injury Unit on January 5, 2022, where he was admitted with the following diagnosis: “Incomplete spinal cord injury of C6 right/C5 left level of medical cause probably related to inflammatory vs vascular etiology (less probable although moderate response to treatment, restricted diffusion with little inflammatory and CSF expression, frequently cryptogenic).”
The Supreme Court maintains that citizens do not have the legal duty to bear the accredited damage that they experienced as a consequence of the act of vaccination, and this led to one victim being affected by Guillain-Barré syndrome that would cause very serious alterations in the nervous system and a degree of disability of 85%. Fernando Osuna has formalized the first of these demands in relation to the injuries suffered by a 19-year-old man from Écija, who has been confined to a wheelchair for life with very severe limitations. According to the lawsuit, scientists have certified that his state of health is directly related to the administration of the coronavirus vaccine.
