Minister of Security of Argentina congratulates President Bukele for returning peace and tranquility to Salvadoran families

The Minister of Security of Argentina, Patricia Bullrich, referred to the work that President Nayib Bukele has done to return peace and tranquility to the Salvadoran population.

“Congratulations (Nayib) Bukele for this change, for having returned peace and tranquility to Salvadoran families,” said Bullrich.

The official presented a before and after in the country, pointing out that in the past El Salvador was known for the dominance of the gangs, the crimes they committed and, among others, the way in which “they had the country under their yoke.”

That reality changed. Bullrich pointed out that, thanks to the strategies implemented by President Bukele, the country changed its image and has now become one of the safest nations in the world.

For her, these changes require a formula that involves different aspects. «This is achieved with legislative changes, with the desire to take the security forces to the place where the armed forces should already be; and also with political will », she concluded.

The minister’s statements arise within the framework of her visit to the country, to learn what the Executive’s strategies have been to combat criminal structures and return peace to the Salvadoran people.

Bullrich has already met with different officials who are part of the Security Cabinet.
