Sílvia Lutucuta, Minister of Health, chaired, this Friday (10), in Luanda, the First Coordination Meeting with National and International Partners in the Health sector.
The minister presented the Sector’s advances to the partners and pointed out that the meeting served to listen to the participants on how each one can contribute to the growth of the Ministry they direct.

The calendar for future coordination meetings was also discussed at the meeting.

The holder of the Health portfolio also said that there is a National Development Plan, with three areas of special attention, two with a very important Public Health component that includes Maternal and Child Health assistance and the fight against major endemic diseases, with special attention to social determinants of health.
Angola is a Signatory to the Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness 2005 and the Accra (capital of Ghana) Agenda for Action 2008, as well as the African Regional Harmonization Initiative for Health in Africa and the International Partnership for Health.
