They arrived safe and sound after cycling for five days for a distance of 270 km. The trophy was awarded to the two girls, Nosy and Narindra, who had the courage to face all the challenges from the Capital to Mahanoro via Antanifotsy and Marolambo.
Sixteen raiders spent their last week of the year in another way. Their love and passion for cycling led them to Mahanoro, crossing the most technical route that exists in Madagascar. Indeed, it is a Mada VTT organization. The association ended the season by offering this mini-raid with a distance of 270 km for a five-day journey. The real starting point was at Antanifotsy on the RN7 on Tuesday. Participants had to get there by bush taxi. On the first day, they connected Antanifotsy-Ambohitompoina over a distance of 40 km. But they began to split into two groups after the 48km Ambohitompoina-Marosoanjo journey the next day. They arrived in Marolambo on Thursday but mechanical problems began to appear as well as discomfort which was due to many reasons. “We were forced to divide into three groups during the 59 km Marolambo-Ambinanindrano journey. The elites went first, then we had the two girls with us and had to follow their pace,” a story called Ansa Fifyalya Rapomantsoa.

However, they all met again at Mahanoro, the arrival point on the fifth day, Saturday morning, except that the third group missed the last bush taxi to Tana and was only able to leave Mahanoro on Sunday morning. . “The track is very muddy and is almost impassable only on two wheels. Sometimes we pass through dark and scary places but also through beautiful landscapes. However, we always arrive at the right place in the evening to be able to sleep. The atmosphere was great, because it is above all an adventure to share between friends, moreover it is passion. Muddy shoes and bike but we are proud to have finished the event together,” to conclude Ansa Fifaliania de Mada VTT.
