On May 9, Minh Tu shared a video about the secret engagement ceremony a year ago. Minh Tu said she and her boyfriend plan to get married in December 2023. However, on May 8, 2023, Minh Tu received news that her father’s health was not good right on the flight home.
Back home, knowing that his father really couldn’t wait until the end of the year, Minh Tu decided to have an urgent wedding.
“The celebration took place during a very difficult period for my family, when my father’s health was getting weaker. During the wedding ceremony on April 13, Minh Tu caused emotion when he attached his father’s photo to the wedding flowers, leaving an empty chair for his father under the stage. At the ceremony, she took time to thank her father.
