Minem transfers S/80 million for environmental remediation projects

Through a supreme decree, the state entity authorized the financing of 13 projects in favor of the company Activos Mineros (AMSAC).

He Ministry of Energy and Minesas a show of support for the environmental preservation and sustainability of the country, gave the green light to the transparency of funds in the mining subsection in nearly thirteen minas active.

According to the special edition of the newspaper El Peruano, this new decision is directed at the mines located in the Peruvian mountains. It should also be noted that the company in charge of carrying out all these actions is Activos Mineros, also known as AMSAC. It must constantly monitor the actions of the mines and how harmful their work is to the environment.

To this end, the Peruvian State will provide a total amount of 80 million soles, which will be distributed in mining centers such as Dorado and Barragán, Huamuyo, La Pastora, Huanchurina, among others.

However, it is important to note that the company in charge of carrying out these actions must use the budget received in accordance with the new budget transparency laws, which indicate that all actions must be registered and patented by the Ministry of Energy and Mines.
