Part of the investment will be allocated to the construction of Bicentennial Schools
He Ministry of Education (Minedu) announced an investment shock of S/ 6,950 million to improve educational infrastructure and provide quality education in public schools.
During the presentation of the guidelines of the Social Pact for Educationthe Minister of Education, Morgan I wantdetailed that S/ 5,900 million will be allocated to build 75 Bicentennial Schools; S/ 135 million, to implement 26 modular schools in 26 regions; S/ 900 million, to maintenance and rehabilitation of 55,000 educational institutions; and S/ 15 million, to the maintenance of 400 schools in Lima with the support of the Armed forces.

Minedu presents financing axes
Quero explained that the Social Pact for Education is based on four axes: infrastructure and equipment; teacher training and classroom learning; education for work and strengthening higher education; and innovation, sport, technology and artificial intelligence.
This agreement aims to close historical gaps in national education and calls upon civil society, the private sector, regional and local governments, Congress, universities, unions, teachers and citizens in general.
