Miloš Zeman and his office: Benešová, Faltýnek, Konečná and Foldyna arrived for a visit

Recently, the re-elected Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico also visited Zeman. “Welcoming Robert Fico in Prague, in my office, was a great joy! I congratulated my friend who returned to the post of Slovak Prime Minister after winning the elections from the bottom of my heart,” the enthusiastic ex-president wrote on his Facebook account.

Zeman even supported Fico in the last election with a recording that was shared on social networks by the prime minister’s Smér-SD party. “Dear Robo, I would like to wish you and your party much success in the elections. We, the Social Democrats, are one European and global family. I believe that social democracy will win in Slovakia as well and that it will be a successful party also because it will be a party of interpersonal solidarity.” Zeman said in the recording.

Zeman has known Fic for many years. In 2014, from the position of head of the Czech state, he also supported Fico in the direct presidential election, in which Andrej Kiska ultimately won.
