Initially this meeting was going to be held on Monday, a holiday in Argentina, but the president-elect’s campaign team finally confirmed that it was not going to take place.

From 8:30 a.m. (11:30 GMT), the incumbent president and the elected president held this meeting that marks the beginning of the transition.

Milei won on Sunday in the second round of the presidential elections against the official candidate and current Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, who this Monday presented the team he trusts that will assume the economic transition.
